At the 2018 edition of the Auckland Art Fair, Parlour Projects presents new work by Ed Bats, Ben Pearce and Grace Wright.

A sense of optimism, youthfulness and an engagement with spirituality connects the practices of Parlour Projects’ three artists. Seen together, the works possess an intense materiality and physicality, with no clue given as to perspective. Ed Bats’ geometric forms suspend themselves above the textured picture plane; Ben Pearce’s familiar surfaces contain nostalgic triggers; Grace Wright’s sensuous lines and curves emit the sensation of falling into the painted surface.
